Coming out of the May 11 check-in: Roberta and Jaylene searched "native ministries" and LIM didn't appear at all. This is why — and the keywords, content, and partnership moves that will actually get LIM found.
Prepared: June 8, 2026 · For: Jaylene, Roberta, Robert
Good news: LIM already ranks on page one for its real strength — trauma healing. A search for "healing the wounds of trauma Native American Christian" surfaces LIM's own page. That's the winnable lane.
The gap: the broad term "native ministries" is owned by sites with the exact words in their domain — nativemi.org, nativeministry.org — plus big denominational pages and directories. Google reads those domains as the literal answer. We will not out-rank them quickly by adding a keyword or two; that takes content + links over months.
The play: win the high-intent "trauma healing / healing group" searches now, get listed in the Native-ministry directories (which also delivers Robert's partnership/link-sharing goal), and build content toward the head terms over time.
Grouped by how realistic it is for LIM to rank. "Difficulty" reflects how entrenched the current top results are.

Where to weave the Tier-1 terms in. Biggest lever first: page titles and the H1, which are currently brand-only and use none of the words people search.

Work "Alaska Native" and "Fairbanks" into the section copy for the local lane.<title> + <meta description> per page, one <h1>, descriptive alt text on images, and a sitemap.xml submitted to Google Search Console at launch. This is the single biggest off-page lever — and it doubles as the partner outreach Robert keeps asking for. Getting listed in Native-ministry directories and swapping links with peer orgs tells Google LIM belongs in this category, and puts LIM in front of communities already doing ministry.
