Sacred Story Success at Haskell
The weekend of Valentine’s Day saw many hearts open at Haskell LIGHT.
Our Sacred Story team converged on the Haskell Indian Nations University to touch the lives of the native students and community members by allowing them to share their stories of abuse and hurt in order to begin their healing journey.
Joy in Lent - Lent 2020
Yes, God’s anger is real concerning sin, but His suffering servant has canceled the power of sin.
Even in the middle of the somber reflection of Lent, there is room for joy!
Faith in the Unknown - Lent 2020
In today's world of self-help, putting faith in something other than your own work is called naive and ignorant. But we know all of God's works have meaning and purpose. We won't understand it all, but we find comfort in his Word and in Our Savior.

My Father is With Me - Lent 2020
It is comforting to know Jesus, our Savior Himself, knows what is it like to be “all alone,” particularly at a time when He most needed his friends. What a great comfort to know that we are never alone in the greatest time of our need.
Our Father's Ways - Lent 2020
The Bible, the inerrant Word of God, tells the story of Jesus Christ and his life spent modeling the ways of the Father. Jesus knew His Father’s ways because the Father lived and dwelled within Him. We, too, can know the Father’s ways, through the power of the Holy Spirit, when Christ lives inside of us.
Montana Healing Project
Because you recognize the importance of this work, LIM has been able to send our Sacred Story team to Montana twice, in the past 4 months. It is our prayer to bring Sacred Story to all seven Montana reservations. With your help, we will do that.
There is No Tomb - Lent 2020
My tribe had great chiefs like Crazy Horse, Red Cloud, Sitting Bull, and Spotted Elk - all leaders we greatly respected. But just like King David, these great Indian leaders are dead. All we have left are the lessons they taught us and the tombs which hold their lifeless bodies.
Jesus’ followers, however, are set apart from all the other people of the world. Our great leader, our Savior, Jesus Christ, has no tomb. He walked out of his!
Restoring Communication - Lent 2020
Jesus’ death removed the barrier so that new life, in a new relationship with God, could begin for all people.
