A safe, scripture-based healing program led by Native facilitators. Free to attend. Open to everyone 18 and older — no faith background required.
A Bible-based small group healing program using the American Bible Society's Trauma Healing Institute model. It addresses spiritual and emotional wounds from violence, loss, abuse, and historical trauma — through applied scripture and the power of community.
"I got to let go of hurts and disappointments I've experienced in my entire life. And talk about freedom. Oh, the freedom. I have a hard time putting into words how you feel so much lighter — how you feel so not shackled anymore. I'm so thankful I said yes."
Healing is self-directed — you share only what you're comfortable with, and go only where you're ready to go. The Holy Spirit does the heavy lifting. No pressure, no force.
This program is not invented. It is proven — used in over 100 countries and grounded in the work of two of the world's leading institutions in Scripture-based trauma care.
The curriculum is built on Healing the Wounds of Trauma: How the Church Can Help — a resource developed by the American Bible Society that weaves over 390 scriptures from the Restoring Hope Bible into every session.

The model integrates contemporary mental health principles with Biblical truth — addressing the whole person: spirit, mind, and community.
LIM trains and certifies Native facilitators to lead groups in their own communities — ensuring the curriculum is delivered with cultural understanding and relational trust.
LIM brings this curriculum to reservations, villages, urban centers, and online — traveling by road, small plane, boat, and snowmachine to reach communities wherever they are.
Sessions fill quickly. Participants must attend all sessions for full benefit. In-person sessions include lunch. Contact us if you need accommodations.
No pressure. No “falling behind.” Just the Word.
Grace, not grades. Join a warm online circle that meets every other week and walks beside you all year. Get behind or miss a week? The door's always open — just jump back in whenever you can.
Each session builds on the last. Over 390 scriptures are woven throughout, using the Restoring Hope Bible. You go only where you're ready to go.
Heart wounds can begin in childhood, young adulthood, or today. This session helps participants name and understand their specific wounds — whether from abuse, loss, historical trauma, or grief. Naming the wound is the first step toward healing it.
Practical tools for the healing journey — exercises that move understanding from head to heart. Participants discover that healing is a process supported by community, prayer, and scripture. This session also addresses how stress and trauma are held in the body.
A compassionate look at what grief actually looks like — and where people get stuck. Understanding the grief journey is often cathartic and transforming. Participants learn they don't have to stay stuck, and that tears are cleansing, not weakness.
The most honest question we carry. Scripture reveals that God is present in suffering — not absent from it. Participants discover that pain is not a sign of abandonment. We learn that Jesus wept — and that changes everything.
One of the most powerful sessions. Participants are gently led through releasing pain and beginning the journey of forgiveness. No pressure, no timeline. You go only where you're ready. The community around you holds space with grace and love.
The closing session brings everything together — looking back at the healing journey, looking forward with hope. Participants also discover how they can share this with others. The healing group is the beginning, not the end.
After experiencing healing yourself, you may feel called to lead others through it. Facilitator training equips you to run healing groups in your own community — multiplying the impact across generations.
"Once I got my ego out of the way and understood it's not my responsibility to change someone — I just follow the guide, like a tour guide — I started enjoying it. It's the Holy Spirit doing all the work."
You don't need to be a Bible scholar or a pastor. You need a heart for people and a willingness to follow the facilitator guide — which is detailed, well-structured, and easy to use.
No. All are welcome — regardless of faith, religion, or background. You don't need to prescribe or ascribe to any specific religion to attend. The program is grounded in biblical scripture, but you come as you are and take what is meaningful to you.
Yes, with the help of our generous donors, there is no cost to attend. LIM covers all curriculum costs, and in-person sessions include lunch each day — we want to make this accessible to everyone.
Life happens — we understand. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can open your spot for someone on the waitlist. We offer several healing groups throughout the year, so there's always another opportunity.
No. The healing journey is completely self-directed. You share only what you are comfortable sharing, and you go only where you're ready to go. There is no pressure and no force. The group agrees to confidentiality guidelines at the start of every session.
Yes — the sessions build on each other, and the connections you form with others are an important part of the experience.
A Prayer Warrior is someone who has been through the healing group process and supports others through prayer — before, during, and after every session. They pray for every participant by name, including those who wanted to come but couldn't. They're also available for private conversation if someone needs it. Every healing group is fully prayed up.
Absolutely. LIM partners with churches, community organizations, and tribal entities to bring healing groups to new locations. Contact us to discuss hosting a group in your community. We provide curriculum, training, and ongoing support.
