LIM Insights – Mountaintop Experiences

LIM Insights From Rev. Dr. Don W. Johnson, Executive Director Last month, I wrote to you about my excellent staff in anticipation of our annual staff gathering in late January in Wisconsin. Our week this year proved to be one of the best meetings we’ve had.

A great retreat center provided us the space for enjoying fellowship together, the conversation of a small group or a hike outdoors in the quiet countryRev. Dr. Don Johnsonside of a Wisconsin winter. Rev. Dan Bohlken of Forest Grove, Oregon, presented an insightful educational component on Law and Grace. We also enjoyed getting to know a few new people who joined us this year, native and non-native alike.

It’s a wonderful thing when staff can come together and share their ministry experiences, renew acquaintances and build the essence of harmony and ministry passion. We had one of those mountaintop experiences at our meeting this year. Once again, it was evident that the Holy Spirit was present with us in our fellowship and our growth together in grace, enabling all of us to celebrate the privilege we have of serving God in the ministry He has called us to.
