What We Can Learn About Generosity, Lesson 4: We are a TRIBE - Monday Morning Devotion
We don't have to stretch our imaginations very far to see that Jesus understood the hearts of men and wanted us to live more as a community and less as individuals.
Luke 6:31 FNV
There are but two ways right and wrong, good and evil; the way to heaven and the way to hell; in the one or other of these all are walking: there is no middle place hereafter, no middle way now. All the children of men are saints or sinners, godly or ungodly.

Native Words We Use Every Day
The English language is a beautiful mix-up of languages. In any conversation, you can hear a smattering of vocabulary we have borrowed from other languages. For example: schmooze and glitch are borrowed from Yiddish. And how about kindergarten, cafe, plaza, and karaoke?
What We Can Learn About Generosity, Lesson 3: Gifts aren't always tangible - Morning Morning Devotion
Everything we do can be a gift to those around us. We can encourage generosity with a listening ear or a funny joke. We can give the gift of obedience or share the gift of our knowledge.
Luke 6:29-30 FNV
What the Lord inculcated here was that broad, unselfish generosity which acts as though it really believed those other beautiful words of Jesus, that "it is more blessed to give than to receive."
