Fighting Isolation & the loss of culture
Native people living on tribal lands are quarantining to preserve their past and ensure their future. The mission is worthy: save the lives of the elders, save the culture. But in doing so, the mental and emotional isolation is breeding more addiction and mental health issues, among other problems.
Living By Faith: Out of the World - Monday Morning Summer Devotion Series - Week 3
It is hard to not get wrapped up into worrying about our nation and the fear of destruction, but we need to understand this is not ours to worry about. This is not our kingdom.

This pandemic has made Native ministry even more relevant.
The Making of Spiritual Warrior - Week 7 - Monday Morning Devotions

In other words, it is not merely a matter of being baptized, nor is it having completed a confirmation class or an adult instruction program. No, it is a cyclical ongoing and lifelong endeavor.

On Solid Ground
Beloved hymns have a way of becoming spontaneous prayers when they weave in and out of our thoughts, reminding us Jesus is not far away.
