2015 LWML National Convention - Des Moines, Iowa

What a blessed time we had celebrating under the theme “Sow – Nourish – Reap” with more than 4,600 women (and a “few good men”) attending the National LWML Convention in Des Moines! Many of the attendees visited our Lutheran Indian Ministries (LIM) booth and were encouraged to take  our quiz, “Test Your Native Knowledge,” during the Bountiful Bash Friday night. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I know we certainly did!

Thank you, LWML, for approving a grant of $75,000 for "Healing of the Navajo Nation," to be funded during the 2015-2017 biennium! We thank God for the long partnership with LWML in supporting our outreach among Native Americans. It is a privilege and honor to raise up Native leaders to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to their communities.

To God be the glory!
